2026 begins quieter than the last years. It's 30 minutes into the new year and it's raining. No one really wants to go out to launch expensive, noisy but colorful explosives into the air to drive away the ghosts of the past.

But this is exactly what I am going to do... what I am, in fact, doing right now as I write this post:

I chase away my insecurities, my fears and my self doubts by finally committing to a couple of tiny experiments just to see where they may lead me.

First tiny experiment

  1. Remind myself daily of the FIVE ideas I want to live by in 2026
    1. don't have an opinion on everything or everybody
    2. be tired of the work I want to do
    3. be overwhelmed by the growth I want for myself
    4. be challenged by the life I create on purpose
    5. outgrow things and people that I used to settle for

The purpose behind this experiment is simple: disconnect the autopilot of life, create or uncover a path for myself that feels worth treading, don't be so fucking timid about possible repercussions.

I will visit this goal once every month to analyze, as objectively as I can be, whether or not I can live up to those ideas and if they are actually worth pursuing.

Second tiny experiment

  1. Write 5 posts every week for the next 20 weeks
    1. there is no limit on how short or long each post is
    2. the posts have to be about something that interests me

The purpose: find and understand myself and see if writing is truly my preferred creative, exploratory outlet.
